Cerebral Palsy and Dungeons and Dragons: it works (of course).

This is Flash Forestwood ( #gnome#paladin ) and his companion, Sir ( #orc armorer #artificer ). They’ve found themselves in an Ooze dimension, a crossroads between the #ForgottenRealms and #Eberron sans important items like #boxinggloves , #swimwear and #armour.

IRL Flash is played by a #young client with #cerebralpalsy and #ASD. They are normally part of my Thursday afternoon #HomeSchool / #SchoolCant program for Aspergers Victoria but have been in and out of #hospital for the last few months and haven’t been able to join the program this term.

Instead of excluding them totally from AVs #game of #DungeonsandDragons and have them miss out – I have been continuing their #adventure privately with them.

While the main group have worked together to escape the Ooze dimension and now find themselves in the deserts of Xendrik #farfromhome , Flash and my DMPC (instigator and distractor) Sir, will journey there for a while longer, and when my clients #health allows they will rejoin the term group not feeling like the #story has left them by.

They will also have important #knowledge and items to share with their #oldfriends
