We threw the party into chaos with a magical mind swap — each player had to play a different character’s body while keeping their original personality. The result? Hilarious teamwork, creative confusion, and lots of laughter.
We added charades into the mix — players acted out personal character memories (based on real-life events they shared privately) to solve a puzzle and escape a magical trap. It was a beautiful mix of storytelling, empathy, and collaboration.
The stakes were high with each wrong move on the grid dealing 2d4 damage (escalating the closer they got to the exit)
When they did reach the exit, each of those wrong moves on the grid summoned a CAT DEMON BABY called Cocoroa… and then we finally got to play DND, lol.
These kinds of sessions support:
Social connection
Emotional expression
Perspective-taking
Problem solving (with a sprinkle of chaos)
My autistic client has become the centre of their own social circle.
Proud of this crew and the way they support each other.
