Isn’t it fantastic that registrations are open for ASD Female & Non-binary Over 18 Dungeons and Dragons groups run by a national autism organisation in Australia?

Hi,

I’m Michael, your local Recreation Therapist – as well as counselling work based around TTRPG and leisure interests – I run a DND group for under 18 school refusers who are Autistic with Aspergers Victoria (outdated name, they are changing it).

I have recruited a lived experience LGBTIQ+ dungeon master to run the adult Women & Non-binary DND group – Elodie Lloyd (they/them)

“I’m a Dungeon Master with a lived experience of being a part of both the autistic and LGBT+ communities. For many years, I was curious to try this ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ thing, but I never really imagined it being anything like it actually was. Once I tried it, I was instantly hooked! I’ve been a Dungeon Master for six years now, and I’ve loved every moment. I love the shared storytelling, worldbuilding and colourful characters people come up with. It truly is a game where anything is possible. The D&D community is wonderful, and last but not least, I adore the genre of high fantasy!”

Elodie is also my able assistant in my School Can’t group and has demonstrated an empathy and perception beyond their years. In my private practice, I refer clients to Elodie for physical supports in the CBD/Inner South/Bayside.

Elodie was a runner up in the Australian Roleplaying Awards game of the year in 2023 (Fire & Stone, look it up!)

This is an existing campaign, but Elodie will ensure you feel safe and comfortable.
