Autism Valued is running a Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game group for neurodivergent kids aged 10–17 this coming term.
I facilitated this program for several years but have now handed the reigns to my awesome assistant, Elodie Lloyd. Elodie is lived experience neurodivergent and an award-winning game designer who was runner up for Independent Game of the Year in the Australian Roleplaying Awards.
The sessions are an online Discord program that run Thursdays from 12:00pm–3:00pm AEDT, Feb 5 – Mar 26, 2026 and span 8 sessions — so it’s more than just one meet-up.
This isn’t just a game — it’s a safe, structured, fun space where kids can:
• connect with peers who get them
• explore creativity and social skills at their own pace
• build confidence without the pressure of a classroom
It’s especially great for kids who really struggle with school settings or who might not fit well into mainstream group activities.
Plus, it’s run through a neurodiversity-affirming organisation with peer support at its heart.

If you’re keen to share an experience that’s not school-centric and genuinely fun, this is a great option.
